re-knit three

my final project for my art in context class. the project was to deconstruct an object/idea/anything really, so i chose to take a thrift-store sweater (originally from express) and re-knit it into something that i liked and would want to wear. i wanted to show the process in the piece, how i took it apart section by section, so this photo is of the new sweater in the center, surrounded by photos of the balls of yarn that were separated by section (sleeves, front, back, neckband). spring 2007.
